Data Safety disclosure
This page describes how the BluePadel app accesses, uses, shares and protects your data. It mirrors the disclosure we submit to the Google Play Data Safety form. BluePadel is an account-based padel platform: to book courts, play rated matches and process payments, we collect and store certain data on our servers. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the app, and we don't sell it or use it for advertising.
What BluePadel collects
"Collected" means the data is sent off your device to our servers. "Shared" means transferred to a third party — under Google Play's definition, providers that only process data on our behalf (such as Paystack and Google) are not counted as "shared."

Who we share data with
We don't sell your data. We use two service providers that process data on our behalf to run the app:
- Google — sign-in (if you choose it), push notifications, in-app billing where applicable, and the Wear OS Data Layer that links your phone and watch.
- Paystack — card payments and wallet top-ups. Your card details go directly to Paystack; we never store them.
Where your data goes
Account, profile, match and payment data is sent to BluePadel's servers over an encrypted HTTPS/TLS connection and stored on secure cloud infrastructure we operate. Heart rate from a paired watch stays between your watch and phone and is not uploaded to us. Shot motion clips (if "Shot types" is on) travel from your watch to your phone and then to us over HTTPS/TLS, and are stored encrypted.
Data security
All traffic to BluePadel uses HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, never in plain text. Access to production data is restricted and authenticated. Card data is never handled by our systems — it goes directly to Paystack.
Data deletion
You can ask us to delete your account and associated data, or just specific data while keeping your account. Use the account deletion or data deletion page, or email hello@bluepadel.co.za. We action requests within 30 days. We retain transaction records where the law requires it (generally up to 5 years), then delete or anonymise them.
Children
BluePadel is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not designed for the Designed for Families programme on Google Play.
